Hoffman attends Port Royal's Battle in the Borough
With the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series doubleheader rained out, Nick Hoffman made a surprise start at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.) on Sunday for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Battle in the Borough.
Against a stacked field of 46 Late Models, Hoffman backed up the fifth-fastest qualifying effort in his 23-car group with the final transfer spot in his heat. With a $10,000 payday up for grabs in the 40-lap feature, Hoffman rolled to a steady 14th-place finish.
