Hoffman podiums in Ed Gressel Memorial at 81 Speedway

The World of Outlaws Real American Late Model Series brought Nick Hoffman to Kansas over the weekend for a two-race swing, beginning Friday night at Humboldt Speedway.

Hoffman opened the weekend with a third-place finish in his heat race, then charged from 12th to 8th in the 30-lap feature to notch a solid top-10 result.

On Saturday, the series moved to 81 Speedway for the Ed Gressel Memorial. Hoffman secured a spot in the redraw after a runner-up finish in his heat race. He rolled off fifth in the $20,000-to-win A-Main and steadily worked his way forward to claim a third-place finish, joining race winner Tim McCreadie and runner-up Brian Shirley on the podium.

With the weekend's results, Hoffman remains second in the latest World of Outlaws standings.
