Nick Hoffman tackles 40th annual Chili Bowl Nationals

Nick Hoffman’s 2026 season began in familiar fashion this past week as he returned to the Tulsa (Okla.) Expo Center’s SageNet Center for the 40th annual Chili Bowl Nationals.

With his preliminary night slated for Monday, Hoffman opened the event with a heat race victory and followed with a third-place finish in his qualifier, securing a spot in the evening’s A-Main. He advanced from 14th to 10th in the 30-lap feature, positioning himself for a C-Main start on Saturday night.

Hoffman successfully transferred from Saturday’s C-Feature, but his run at the coveted Golden Driller came to an end with a 17th-place finish in the B-Feature.
