Hoffman tallies a trio of top-10's during World of Outlaws swing
An eastern swing with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Real American Beer Late Model Series took Nick Hoffman and the Tye Twarog Racing team to Raceway 7 on Thursday to open a four-race stretch.
Hoffman set the tone early by topping his qualifying group, then finished second in his heat race before notching a sixth-place result in the 35-lap feature.
After the opening round of the Connor Bobik Memorial at Marion Center Raceway was rained out, Nick Hoffman returned to the Pennsylvania oval on Saturday where he raced into the redraw with a heat race victory. Starting the $30,000-to-win main event in third, Hoffman muscled forward one spot to take home a second-place finish. He joined race-winner Bobby Pierce on the podium with Ryan Gustin finishing third.
Hoffman wrapped up the weekend with a solid fifth-place finish in Sunday’s Billy Winn Classic at Bedford Speedway.
On the heels of a consistent weekend, Hoffman maintains second in the latest WoO standings.
