Nick Hoffman finishes fifth in DTWC at Eldora Speedway
The 45th annual Dirt Track World Championship brought Nick Hoffman and the Tye Twarog Racing team to Eldora Speedway on Friday afternoon.
With 59 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries converging on the half-mile oval, Hoffman secured his spot in Saturday’s $100,000-to-win main event by finishing second in his heat race.
Rolling off ninth in the 100-lap feature, Hoffman improved four positions to register fifth-place finish in the LOLMDS season finale. He crossed the line behind Bobby Pierce, Chris Madden, Brandon Sheppard, and Devin Moran.
