Hoffman Rules Swamp Cabbage 100 at Hendry County
Earns $20,000 for Fourth Win of 2026
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Feb. 23, 2026) — Nick Hoffman outdueled reigning World of Outlaws Late Model Series champion Bobby Pierce in Saturday’s Swamp Cabbage 100 to capture the $20,000 top prize at Hendry County Motorsports Park.
The victory — which came during the Series’ inaugural visit to the Florida oval — marked Hoffman’s fourth win of the 2026 campaign and pushed the Mooresville, North Carolina native back to the top of the championship standings.
“This place was really good,” said Hoffman, who registered the 14th WoO triumph of his career. “I had my doubts, I will say. Tonight’s track, the racing surface was great. Had a little bit of character, but I feel like that’s what evened it out a little bit.
Hoffman’s strong weekend in South Florida began Friday with a runner-up finish in his heat race before charging to a solid fifth-place result in the 40-lap opener.
On Saturday, Hoffman earned a commanding heat race victory to lock into the 60-lap finale. In the feature, he worked his way underneath Pierce early and then withstood heavy pressure over the final 10 circuits to secure the hard-fought win.
With the triumph, Hoffman now holds a 10-point advantage over Pierce in the latest World of Outlaws standings.
